State definitions
Current means the maintainer's supported main route. Deprecated requires an explicit warning. Legacy is older but not explicitly unsafe. Removed records stay visible only when needed to prevent confusion. Unknown never produces a download recommendation.
Conflict handling
When a third-party guide contradicts the maintainer page, the primary claim wins and the contradiction is recorded. When two primary fields conflict, the tool returns unknown instead of inventing a tie-breaker.
Change history
Each daily source hash is compared to the last successful snapshot. Only a substantive release or guidance change updates affected pages and their sitemap last-modified value.
