Primary creator source: the first scripted Verity short film.

Three things share one name

Search results mix the original film character, community Java mods, and Bedrock add-ons. Treating them as one product causes most bad downloads and installation failures.

The original story

ThatMob published three episodes and a full-movie compilation. The descriptions disclose that the videos are scripted short films made with editing and sound work. That disclosure is the strongest answer to claims that the original footage proves a secret downloadable mod.

03

The playable projects

Verity JE is the current Forge 1.20.1 default in our source set. Verity Revamped is a newer, separate NeoForge 1.21.1 project. PnTMC's Bedrock Edition and Verity BE are two different Bedrock projects. Their names do not make their files interchangeable.

Choose by intent

If you want the story, start with the creator timeline. If you want to play, use the project checker or install planner. If something is already broken, record the exact project ID and file before following a repair guide.

  • Story: use the primary video timeline
  • Install: identify edition, project, version, and loader
  • Repair: diagnose the failing stage before replacing files

What the name does not prove

A page, APK, mirror, or social post containing the word Verity is not automatically connected to ThatMob or a maintained adaptation. Verify the project identity, maintainer, platform, file type, and supported version separately.

FAQ

Questions

Is Verity a separate game?

No. The original is a scripted Minecraft horror film series, while the playable releases are community Minecraft projects.

Is there one Verity mod for every Minecraft edition?

No. Java and Bedrock use different file formats, and multiple separately maintained projects exist.
